Making a Move

I had been talking about moving back to Vancouver for a while. However, something always came up. A thing no one tells you about moving is that whenever you want to move to a new place, everything starts to fall into place where you are. Things get better than they have ever been, and it becomes almost impossible to leave.

What started as a year plan, soon became a two-year plan. Before leaving we were able to get rid of most of our belongings and packed our car to the rim and go. Our 10 day drive across Canada was a success.

Our first year in Vancouver flew by quickly. I picked up a full-time job, took a few courses, and am currently running my full-time photography business. When I look back at it, I’m not sure why I was so afraid to leave, and now that I’m where I wanted to be I’m ready for new challenges.

My biggest advice is not to be afraid of the unknown. Instead, embrace it, you never know how great things can be until you try.
