10 Things I’ve Learned As An Intern

Throughout my college and university careers, I’ve interned at numerous organizations and corporations – each one much different than the last. During my final year at Mohawk College I was on the Mohawk Students’ Association (MSA) as Director of Special Events. I have never been the type of person to want to be on a student government, take part in extracurricular activities or anything besides going to classes.

When I decided to come back to Mohawk after taking a couple years off I decided this time I would be more involved with school. The first year I worked in the Cellar as a server/bartender and the second year I was informed of a position opening up as Director of Special Events. I have always had a passion for planning events so I decided to apply.
